Bloodroot at Its Finest

Had to go do a rush work case today. Wasn't on my original agenda, but otherwise I would not have seen this beautiful patch of wide-open bloodroot. About 9 times out of 10, you'll find these flowers either shut tight or only partly open, so this was a real treat. Enjoy!

Blood root blossoms are beautiful. It rained last night, which altered my plans for today.
