Euphorbia Crown of Thorns

The Arts Center where the writing group meets has a wonderful, huge Euphorbia milii. It's in bloom!

Euphorbia milii

I've showed you lots of Euphorbias before, mostly from the flower show, but a few native ones.

You might ask why this one is called "Crown of Thorns." Take a nice look at the branches!

It was a close call, but I got Chapter 25 of Dead Mule Swamp Druggist written in time for the meeting.

Lovely blossoms. There must be a parable here for this Lenten season.
